Glimpse: IMPACT HIGHLIGHT
Impact Thesis
Providing data that correlates school district spending with student performance will enable districts to understand which programs and technology are benefitting which students and shift their spending towards improving student outcomes
Glimpse’s data analysis technology offers schools a new look at their spending
Glimpse K12 evaluated the usage of 200,000 curriculum software licenses purchased by 275 schools during the 2017-2018 school year. After an analysis of $2 billion in school spending, Glimpse discovered that 67% of educational software product licenses go unused.
The school districts included in the analysis are losing approximately $2 million in unused products each school year. Districts can utilize this data to make more informed decisions about their educational software purchases, potentially leading to improvements in student outcomes.
