Jamie Jones is Director of Duke Innovation & Entrepreneurship and an Associate Professor of the Practice of Management at Duke University Fuqua School of Business, where she teaches entrepreneurship courses and leads Duke I&E’s community-wide engagement. She previously held leadership roles at Rice University as Executive Director of the Liu Idea Lab for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (Lilie) and at Northwestern University as Director of Social Entrepreneurship and Clinical Professor at Kellogg School of Management, including a faculty lead for the Zell Fellows Program.
Her work blends design thinking and Lean Startup methods to strengthen business models, with experience across India, East and West Africa, and Latin America in agriculture, education, health, and water ventures. She was named to the Triangle Business Journal 40 Under 40 and co-founded Impact Engine in 2012 with Linda Darragh, serving on its board in the organization’s early years.
